Job Description

KBW Financial Staffing has partnered with a successful and established auto group in Connecticut that is searching for a new Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial operations and strategic initiatives for the organization. This is the number one finance role reporting to ownership and oversees a large team. The qualified candidate will have recent auto dealership experience, be very strong with technical accounting, financial reporting, acquisitions, funding, with a proven history of helping grow an organization. Salary and compensation package will be commensurate with the scope of the role. This is an in-office role.

  • Oversee all accounting operations, financial consolidations, financial planning, analysis, forecasts, financial reporting for internal and external partners, audits, taxes, banking relationships and cash management.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that include process improvements, cost containment, value added reporting for sales, acquisitions, new location builds and integrations.
  • Manage all banking relationships, funding, be a go to for reporting to factory partners, oversee inventory and parts/service operations from a financial perspective
  • As a senior member of the leadership team, be a value added resource for sound decision making, managing risk and identifying areas of growth and opportunity.


Requirements

Bachelors or advanced degree in Accounting/Finance or Business, CPA/MBA preferred

Recent experience in a similar role in the auto industry

Excellent leadership qualities, strong systems skills.
